code of conduct
-
By participating to a Micro Short Films (MSF) project, I agree to:
-
-
Take on my share of production management tasks, understanding that a collective effort is necessary for the success of the project.
-
Acknowledge the networking component as a cornerstone of MSF and facilitate a positive networking experience for myself and others without hindrance.
-
Commit to Active Participation, striving to attend all group meetings whenever possible, even during phases where my specific role may not be directly involved. This fosters a collaborative and engaged group dynamic.
-
Recognize this project as low/no-budget, and while no one should be pressured to contribute financially, external funding avenues are encouraged. Creative solutions that require no budget are also welcomed.
-
Assign a liaison officer within my group, preferably a producer or director, to coordinate with MSF.
-
Uphold the ethos of MSF, committing to work collaboratively and respectfully within my assigned group.
-
Optimize the use of available resources, seeking no-budget solutions whenever feasible.
-
Be respectful of the values and beliefs of other group members, pledging to work collaboratively and equitably.
-
Communicate my availability clearly and update my group should it change.
-
Adhere to the project’s requirements, including attendance at meetings and being reachable via selected communication platforms.
-
Prohibit any form of abuse, harassment, or intimidation, adhering to a zero-tolerance policy against such behaviors.
-
Eschew all forms of discrimination, whether based on race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin.
-
Treat everyone equally and fairly, abiding by a zero-tolerance approach to inequality.
-
Use appropriate and respectful language and behavior towards all group members.
-
Commit to completing the project unless there is a valid reason that prevents me from doing so.
-
Not expect people to work for free on subsequent projects outside of MSF.
-
Acknowledge that MSF is not a platform for the development of pre-existing work, like pre-written script drafts.
